This release is part of the Chinese Myths and Legends Series, first released in 2018. 

The coin’s reverse portrays a powerful Chinese dragon clasping a pearl in one of its claws. The creature’s red and gold colouring is associated with joy and wealth. As well as the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the design includes representations of clouds, denoting the dragon’s celestial realm.

This release is limited to a maximum mintage of 5,000 coins and would make a great addition to any collection.

Chinese Lunar Series 2022 - Year of the Tiger 3 g Gold and 30 g Silver 2 Coin Proof Set manufactured by China Gold Coin Corporation.

The Bank of China has announced that the 2022 Chinese Year of the Tiger gold and silver commemorative coins will be released in November. There are 13 coins in total, with 8 gold coins and 5 silver coins. They are all legal tender coins issued by the People's Republic of China.

It bears the common obverse design of the People's Republic of China's national emblem with Chinese traditional auspicious patterns, the country name, and the year of issue on the obverse.

On the reverse, it depicts the lunar tiger in various tiger styles for each size. 

The coins are minted in .999 fine silver and .9999 gold respectively. It comes in the proof version. 

This is an excellent gift for those that are celebrating the ushering of the lunar new year!

Each set comes with a certificate of authenticity and this coin is limited to a mintage of 150,000.

When released, the coin was only available via ballot through the Royal Australian Mint. 

The coin is circulated in good condition and does not come with its' presentation case. 

The coin is limited to a maximum mintage of 1,000.

Minted by the United States Mint. The coins are guaranteed by the U.S. government to contain the stated amount of actual gold weight in troy ounces.

The gold must by law come from sources in America.

The Gold Buffalo is the only American official legal tender gold coin in .9999 gold.

Each of these coins are graded as MS 70, which is the perfect score, on the NGC scale to 70. The coins are graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), a world class third party coin grader. These coins are thus of very high quality. The coins are also "First Strike" editions. Under NGC regulations, that means that the coins have to be submitted for grading within 30 days of the coin being released. Collectors like "First Strike" coins because they leave the minting press first and are thus potentially of better quality compared to coins minted further down the line. 

The encapsulation ensures that the coin is well protected.
