Malaysian Ringgit in US Dollar - Today's Featured Chart

The Malaysian Ringgit has been the worst performing currency in Asia ever since Donald Trump got elected as the president of the United States. At the time of writing, it has fallen to 4.465 against the greenback. With the possibility that the OPEC meetings might yield no results, oil prices and subsequently the ringgit should fall even further against the greenback, with some analysts predicting that the ringgit could fall to 4.80 against the greenback. Meanwhile, long lines can be seen at money changers across the causeway as Singaporeans and Malaysians working in Singapore alike are taking advantage of the weaker ringgit to change some money for groceries or to remit back to their families in Malaysia.
