1 oz Australian Perth Mint's 125th Anniversary Gold Bullion Coin minted by The Perth Mint. 

The Perth Mint opened on June 20, 1899 at the height of the Western Australian gold rush.

Celebrating the mint's 125th anniversary, only 25,000 1 oz gold coins were struck, featuring animals from modern designs such as the kangaroo, kookaburra and koala.

The reverse of the coin portrays the koala, kangaroo and kookaburra artfully arranged in a golden wattle, which is Australia's national floral emblem. On a scroll, the years 1899 and 2024 are struck, signifying the 125 years that The Perth Mint has been in operation. The coin's weight and fineness along with "2024" and the "P125" privy mark complete this design.
