Perth Mint has produced the Lunar Series gold coins since 1996. The year of the Goat 2007 was the twelfth year the Gold Lunar was produced.

The obverse features the head of state of the British Commonwealth, Elizabeth II, along with the weight of the coin, its purity and face value. The face value of the 1 ounce coin is A$100.

The reverse of the coin features a piglet standing in water with rocks.

Each Year of the Pig Gold coin is minted in .9999 fine gold.
