Up for bidding is 2 pcs of 1 oz 2020 American Gold Buffalo Coins – Total 2 oz Gold.

The 2020 American Buffalo 1 oz gold coin is a bullion product issued by the United States of America, and produced at the West Point Mint. The Buffalo series was America’s first bullion coin produced in 24-karat gold.

Each of the 2020 1 oz gold Buffalo coins contain 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of 999.9 fine gold, and have a diameter of 32.7 mm. They are legal tender in the US with a face value of 50 US dollars.

The obverse recreates the famous 'Indian Head' portrait used on older American coins. The word "LIBERTY" is featured, alongside the year of issue, and the letter "F," marking the work of the designer James Earle Fraser.

Remaining the same each year, the reverse of the coin features a buffalo (or bison) facing left. The reverse also includes several inscriptions: “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”, “E PLURIBUS UNUM” meaning ‘Out of Many, One’, “IN GOD WE TRUST”, the coin’s face value of $50, and “1 OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD”.

The 2020 American Buffalo 1 oz gold coin offers investors a distinctly American coin, with a high purity. Individual gold Buffalo coins are delivered in a plastic coin flip, while purchases of 20 are dispatched in their original US Mint plastic tube.
