10 oz Queen's Beast Griffin silver coin minted by the Royal Mint.

The Queen's Beast Griffin is the second of ten coins in the newly released Queen's Beast Series, a series that features the heraldic beasts that stood guard at The Queen's coronation. 

The second beast is "The Griffin of Edwards III". It was considered a beneficent creature, signifying courage and strength combined with guardianship, vigilance, swiftness and keen vision. The shield shows the Round Tower of Windsor Castle with the Royal Standard flying from the turret, enclosed by two branches of oak surmounted by the royal crown.

Each 10 oz silver Queen's Beast Griffin is minted in .9999 fine silver. 

The Queen's Beast Griffin is legal tender at £10.
