The 2011 Year of the Rabbit 1 kg silver coin is part of Perth Mint’s popular Lunar Series, and issued by Australia. This coin is part of Series II of the Lunar coins, which were issued between 2008 and 2019. The reverse depicts two rabbits among the undergrowth. The Chinese character for ‘rabbit’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Rabbit’ also appear in the design with the Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark. The large size of this coin makes it a fantastic way to view the design in exquisite detail.
