The 1 oz Silver Britannia coin is a 99.9% pure silver bullion coin minted by Britain´s Royal Mint for 2024.

The coin takes its name and inspiration from classical imagery of Britain's strength and seafaring tradition in the form of a female warrior ‘Britannia'.

The reverse of the 2024 silver 1 oz coin features the internationally recognized figure of Britannia standing firm against a powerful gale. Her Image has symbolized Britain's strength and integrity on coinage since Roman times. Features including a latent image, surface animation, tincture lines, and micro text have been included into the design for added security.

The obverse of the coin portrays Britain´s monarch, King Charles III, in a design by Martin Jennings.

Silver Britannia 1 oz coins are legal tender in the UK with a nominal face value of £2.

The Royal Mint, located in Wales, is the UK´s national mint and is fully owned by His Majesty´s Treasury.
