The 1 troy ounce South African Silver Krugerrand is produced by the Rand Refinery (RR). Rand Refinery is world famous for their mintage of the South African Gold Krugerrand, which has been minted since 1967 and at one point accounted for 90% of the global coin market. 

The South African Silver Krugerrand bears the same image from its' gold counterpart. The reverse of the coin features a Springbok antelope, the national animal of South Africa, along with the year of minting, face value and Silver weight. The obverse of the coin features Paul Kruger, South Africa’s first president, along with “South Africa” in Afrikaans and English.

Each 1 oz South African Silver Krugerrand investment coin has a diameter of 38.7 mm and is produced from 99.9 % pure silver. 

Individual coins are delivered in coin flips, orders in increments of 25 Silver Krugerrand coins are delivered in RR mint tubes, while orders of 500 coins are shipped in a monster box.
