This sizable 5 ounce Lunar silver bullion coin from the Perth Mint of Western Australia has a silver purity or fineness of 0.9999 and celebrates the Lunar Year of the Pig for 2019.

The front of the coins hosts a portrait of Australia's monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse face displays a pastoral scene of an adult pig with four piglets amid stylized foliage. 

Within the Perth Mint's silver Lunar series of coins, there are 7 denominations produced, from a 0.5 troy ounce coin through 1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz coins, through to a 1 kg silver coin and a very large 10 kg silver coin.

The 5 oz silver Lunar Year of the Pig coin is legal tender in Australia with a nominal face value of AUD 8.
