Weighing a substantial 1 kilogram or 32.15 ozs, the 1 kg Kookaburra coin contains 99.99% silver.

Issued annually by the Perth Mint, the design Silver Kookaburra coins also change each year. The 2019 Kookaburra features imagery of a Australia kookaburra bird perched on a tree branch above gently rippling water.

The inverse face of the 1 kg Silver Kookaburra shows a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, Australia´s monarch.

In addition to this large 1 kg coin, the Kookaburra silver coin series is also minted in weights of 10 ozs and 1 oz.
