This 2019 1 oz Silver Britannia is a 99.9% pure silver bullion coin minted by Britain´s Royal Mint, one of the world´s oldest mints.

The Silver Britannia coin takes its name from 'Britannia', the classical depiction of Britain as a goddess personifying Britain's strength and seafaring tradition.

The reverse of the 2019 coin features Britannia standing strong against a gale with trident, shield and olive branch in hand, and a radial sunburst behind.

The obverse of the coin features Britain´s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in a portrait designed by the Royal Mint´s chief engraver Jody Clark. Silver Britannias are legal tender at £2.

The Royal Mint is the UK´s national mint and is fully owned by Her Majesty´s Treasury. It produces circulation coinage for many countries, as well as a full range of investment precious metals bullion coins.
