Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Ox, this 1 oz silver dragon privy lunar coin is minted by Australia’s Perth Mint in 0.9999 fine silver.

Newly issued for 2021, the Ox is the second of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac. Those born in the Year of the Ox are said to be strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, inspiring confidence in others. The inclusion of a dragon privy mark honours the ancient symbol of power, wisdom and luck. 

The reverse of the 1 oz silver lunar coin features striking imagery of a pair of Ox along with the Chinese character for Ox and the year 2021.

The obverse of the coin features a Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Australia’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, and the coin’s weight and silver purity “1 oz 9999 Ag”.

The Perth Mint’s Year of the Ox 1 oz silver dragon privy coin has a limited mintage of 30,000 pieces. Each coin comes presented in a protective coin capsule.
