Celebrating the Chinese Year of the Tiger, this 2 oz silver antique finished lunar coin is minted by Australia’s Perth Mint in 0.9999 fine silver.

Newly issued for 2022, the Tiger is the third of the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac. Those born in the Year of the Tiger are said to be brave, competitive and confident. They are very charming and well-liked by others.

The reverse of the coin features a representation of a tiger cub following its proud parent across rocky terrain. In the background a river is depicted flowing through the bamboo. Also included in the design is the Perth Mint's "P" mintmark. 

The coin is housed in a display case with a clear lid decorated with a silver geometric design. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper portraying the story of how the Tiger became an animal of the Chinese lunar calendar and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. 

This coin is limited to a maximum mintage of 1,888, making it an excellent gift or for adding to your collection!
