Our various year Noah's Ark 1 oz silver coin are issued by Armenia and minted by Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung GmbH (LEV), a subsidiary of Germany’s Geiger Edelmetalle.

Each 1 oz silver Noah’s Ark coin is 38.6 mm in diameter, and contains 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of 999 fine silver. They are legal tender in Armenia, with a face value of 500 Dram. Customers will receive any year of coin from our available stock, and cannot specify the year of coin they will receive.

The reverse of the coin features a depiction of the biblical story Noah’s Ark. In the background of the design is a stylised portrayal of Mount Ararat, which was part of Armenia's historic territory until 1921, when it was ceded to Turkey under the Treaty of Kars following the Turkish-Armenian War of 1920. Mount Ararat remains a very important part of Armenian identity, and appears on the country's coat of arms despite lying just across the modern border. In the foreground there is a dove carrying an olive branch, which, according to the Bible, portends the end of the flood. Beside this image there is imprinted the English name of the coin “Noah’s Ark” and its Armenian translation.

The obverse of the coin features the Armenian Coat of Arms, the coin’s face value, year of issue, alongside the weight, fineness, and an LEV mintmark. The words “REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA” are also shown in both English and Armenian.

Individual Noah’s Ark 1 oz silver coins are delivered in coin flips. Orders in increments of 20 coins are delivered in original mint tubes, while orders of 500 coins are delivered in the original monster boxes made of wood.
