This 1 oz platinum Black Bull of Clarence coin from Britain’s famous Royal Mint is part of the unique Queen’s Beast series of bullion coins.

Designed by Royal Mint designer Jody Clark, each of the 10 coins in the Queen’s Beast series is inspired by the mythical beasts of British royalty heraldry.

This 2019 issue, minted in 99.95% fine platinum, features the heraldic beast, the Black Bull of Clarence, a symbol of power and strength which first appeared on royal coasts of arms in the fifteenth century.

The observe of the Black Bull platinum coin features a portrait of Elizabeth II, Britain’s long reigning monarch.

The 1 oz platinum Queen’s Beast Black Bull coin is legal tender in the UK with a face value of £100.
