This 2022 United Kingdom 1/10 oz Britannia platinum bullion coin is minted by the world-famous Royal Mint in the same style as its gold and silver counterparts.

The term 'Britannia' was first used within the Roman Empire to refer to British lands conquered by the Romans. Over time, the Romans devised the classical female image of Britannia, imagery which was later adapted by the British to personify Britain's strength and seafaring tradition.

With a purity of 99.95% platinum, each of these investment platinum coins is GST in Singapore as they are classified under Singaporean legislation as Investment Precious Metal coins.

The reverse of the 1/10 oz platinum coin features Britannia standing firm against a powerful gale. A radial sunburst design behind Britannia adds anti-counterfeiting protection. The obverse of the coin features Britain's monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Mint is the world’s oldest mint, and was founded in 1279. The Mint premises was actually located in the Tower of London until 1811, then moved to nearby Tower Hill in the financial district of London, and in 1968 moved to its present location in Llantrisant, South Wales.
