This 2019 1 oz platinum American Eagle bullion coin is minted by the famous United States Mint (US Mint) in 99.95% pure platinum. 

The obverse of the 1 oz platinum American Eagle Face features stunning imagery of the face the Statue of Liberty, with the word 'LIBERTY' encircling above, and the year of issue 2019 to the right hand side.

The obverse face also features the phrases ‘In God We Trust" to the right side, and "E Pluribus Unum" in small lettering along Liberty's arm.

The reverse face of the coin displays an American Eagle soaring on the wind, the words ‘United States of America’, the coin’s weight and platinum purity, and the official face value of $100.

The one-ounce US Mint platinum Eagle coin displays the highest face value ($100) ever to appear on a United States coin. The US Mint is owned by the US Treasury.

Platinum Eagle coins were authorized by the US Congress in 1996 and first issued in 1997, and are the only official investment-grade platinum coins produced by the US Mint.
