This 2019 Britannia gold bullion coin is minted in 99.99% pure gold by Britain’s famous Royal Mint.

The Gold Britannia takes its name from 'Britannia', a classical female figure personifying Britain's strength and seafaring tradition.

The reverse of the 2019 Gold Britannia features Philip Nathan designed imagery of Britannia standing strong against a storm with shield, trident, and olive branch in hand, in front of a radial sunburst background.

The obverse of the coin features Britain´s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in a portrait designed by the Royal Mint´s chief engraver Jody Clark. The obverse imagery contains an intricate guilloche design.

Gold Britannia bullion coins are non-circulating legal tender in the UK with an official face value of £100.

The Royal Mint, established over 1,100 years ago, is the Britain’s national mint and is fully owned by Her Majesty´s Treasury.
