This 1 oz gold bullion coin from Australia’s Perth Mint is minted in 99.99% pure gold and celebrates the Lunar Year of the Horse for 2026.

The Year of the Horse coin is the seventh coin to be issued in the New Perth Mint Lunar Series 3. Running from 2020 to 2032, the Perth Mint's latest Lunar series of coins will feature the 12 animals In the Chinese Lunar calendar.

People born in the Year of the Horse are energetic, independent, and charismatic, with a natural zest for life and a love for freedom.

The reverse of the 1 oz gold coin features a majestic Horse standing on it's hind legs, set in it's natural habitat, with the Chinese character for Horse displayed in a contemporary style along with the year 2026.

The obverse of the coin features a Dan Thorne designed portrait of His Majesty King Charles III with the words “AUSTRALIA”, the coin’s weight and gold purity “1 oz 9999 Au” and the monetary denomination. The coin has a legal tender value of AUD 100. 

Delivered in coin capsules, Year of the Horse 1 oz gold bullion coins have a limited mintage of 30,000 pieces so will appeal to investors and collectors alike.
