Each 5 gram Gold Britannia bar comes sealed in Certiline packaging, guaranteeing the gold bar's authenticity in terms of purity and weight. 

The Britannia Gold Minted Bars carry 3 security features:

- Micro-text around the edge of Britannia’s shield spells out the words ‘DECUS ET TUTAMEN’, which translates to ‘an ornament and a safeguard’.

- Textured animation creates a wave motion behind Britannia when the bar is moved and

- A latent image switches between a trident and a padlock when the bar is rotated.

From 1 June 2024, the Britannia gold bullion bars are produced for The Royal Mint by Sempsa, a London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) accredited refiner, and come in an exclusive Certiline Security packaging. As such, the Britannia gold bullion bars produced for The Royal Mint by Sempsa is exempted from Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Singapore.
