This 1 oz rectangular gold coin bar from Australia’s Perth Mint is minted in 99.99% gold and is known as a gold coin bar because it is an official Australian gold coin but in rectangular shape.

The reverse of the coin bar features a stylized Chinese dragon, symbol of wisdom and enlightenment, chasing a flaming pearl against a backdrop of swirling wind, clouds and water.

The obverse face of the bar features a portrait of Australia’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, against a radial dial, with the words “AUSTRALIA” and coin’s weight and gold purity “1 oz 9999 Au” inscribed above, and the year of issue featured below.

The 1 oz dragon gold coin bar is classified as Investment Precious Metal (IPM) in Singapore and so is exempt from Singapore’s Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The Perth Mint have limited the mintage of the 1 oz Dragaon gold coin bar to a maximum of 25,000 pieces.

Located in Perth, Western Australia, the Perth Mint and refinery is fully owned by the Government of Western Australia, which guarantees the authenticity of all bullion products produced by the Mint.
