Completed in 1869, the Istana, which means "Palace" in Malay, is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Singapore. It was gazetted as a national monument on 14 February 1992 by the Preservation of Monuments Board, having witnessed key milestones in Singapore's history.
The set consists of the Istana Vanda Miss Joaquim, the Istana Swans, the Oriental Ouied Hornbill and the Barn Owl.
Limited to a maximum mintage of 1,000 sets, this would make an excellent addition to your collection.
