Up for bidding is the 2021 1/2 oz Niue Silver "Do You See Me?" Antique-Finished Coin manufactured by New Zealand Mint.
The mesmerizing eye of a satanic leaf-tailed gecko appears on the coin's front. This small lizard remains hidden during the day and waits for the night to hunt for food. The gecko's enormous eyes lack pupils, making it easier to spot prey in the dark.
The eye was created using a special UV coating technology. The eye is convex with a mini relief, and the gecko appears to be staring at you. The inscriptions "I SEE YOU" and "DO YOU SEE ME?" – the coin's name – are all around the reverse.
The coin is minted in .999 fine silver.
The package is wonderfully made into a card featuring the gecko's eye, which is the coin itself. It serves as a great gift for true collectors!
Each set comes with a certificate of authenticity and this coin is limited to a mintage of 1000.
