This special 1 oz Gold Canadian Maple was produced by the Royal Canadian Mint.

The Royal Canadian Mint released three unique Gold coins to commemorate the 2010 Winter Olympics, held in Vancouver, British Columbia. This Thunderbird design is the second in the series.

The reverse of the coin features a Thunderbird, with small maple leafs swirling in the wind created from its wings along with the purity and weight.

The obverse of the coin features the Olympic games logo alongside a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. 

The 1 oz Gold Maple is legal tender at CAD$50.
