This unique gold coin is minted by the Austrian Mint as part of the 2000th Anniversary of Christianity Series.

The obverse of the coin depicts a rider on his horse holding his head and another man leading the horse. The inscription "Barmherziger Samariter" is also included in the Design. The reverse of the coin depicts a nurse holding the hand of a patient, as well as the state of issue and the denomination.

Each coin is minted in .986 purity and contains 10 grams of pure gold. The coin weighs 10.14 grams.

Limited to a maximium mintage of 50,000 and rarely seen for sale, this coin would make an excellent addition to your collection.
