The Perth Mint has produced the Koala Series in silver since 2007. The series features designs of the iconic Australian marsupial, the Koala. A new design is released each year with a slightly different koala design.
For the first time in the Koala's history, the coins are minted in .9999 fine silver.
The 1 kg Silver Koala is legal tender with AUD 30.
The coin comes delivered in its original coin capsule.
