In traditional Chinese culture, the serpent-like dragon is revered as a divine creature and potent symbol of power, wealth and good fortune. With a pattern on its forehead resembling the Chinese character for ‘king’, the tiger represents courage and leadership, while it’s also considered to be the enemy of evil spirits.
The coin’s coloured artistry employs twin dragon and tiger motifs. The four creatures surround the ancient Yin and Yang symbol, or taijitu, comprising a circle divided into black and white tear-shaped halves. The design also includes symbolic clouds and peony flowers.
This coin is minted in .9999 fine silver and comes with a nice clamshell box with outer box to make it an excellent gift or addition to your collection!
