Up for bidding is the 2013 2 oz Australian Silver Lunar Series "Year of the Snake" Coin. This stunning coin is produced by Perth Mint.

Perth Mint has been minting the popular Lunar Series of silver coins since 1999. The coins commemorate the 12-year Chinese Lunar Calendar. The production of the first series of silver coins ended in 2007, after gold coins for Series I of the Lunar Series ran from 1996 to 2007. Perth Mint has been producing its Series II coins since 2008.

The silver coins produced for the Lunar Series are ranging between 1/2 oz for the smallest coin up to a gigantic 10 kg coin.
