From Australia’s famous Perth Mint, this 1 kg silver bullion coin issued for 2022 is minted in 99.99% pure silver.

The Perth Mint is owned by the Government of the State of Western Australia. This Mint has a long and distinguished history and was originally established as a branch mint of Britain’s Royal Mint in 1899.  

The reverse of this 1 kilogram Koala silver bullion coin features imagery of a Koala on a gum tree branch, and the words ‘KOALA’ encircled above, with the coin’s year 2022, weight 1 kilo, and silver purity 9999 imprinted .

The obverse of the 1 kg coin features Jody Clark likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

The imagery of the Koala on this series of  Perth Mint silver coin changes each year and the coins have a limited mintage. This means that the silver Koala is a collectible coin and suitable for gift giving, as well as for investors buying silver bullion for savings purposes.
